About the event
Join us at Broadmoor Lake Park in Sherwood Park for The Pillars, an outdoor celebration of hip hop culture through dance, music, food, and art. This free, family-friendly event will bring together dancers, artists, and community members of all ages for an afternoon of creativity and connection.
The day will feature:
Dance Battles & Cyphers – Showcasing local talent with youth and all-ages competitions in breaking and open styles.
Live Performances – Edmonton-area DJs, MCs, and dancers bringing energy and music to the park.
Graffiti Art – A live mural installation plus a community wall where families and youth can pick up a can and add their mark.
Youth Showcase – Local emerging dancers sharing their creativity in a supportive, light-hearted performance.
